December Pack Meeting

q The December Pack meeting is this Friday, December 14^th

after school from 3:30 – 5:00.

q The meeting is a combined Service Project and Pizza party where

the Scouts will be making placemats for the PADS Christmas meal.

q We will also be organizing gifts for the shelter. All boys should bring items to donate such as travel sized toothpaste, long underwear, razors, etc. Items should not cost more than $5.

q This is a family event so all are welcome to join us in the Blue Gym after school!

Hiking Club

q

The December Hiking Club event is this Sunday, December 16^th!

q Scouts should meet at Whittier school at 1:30. We will then travel to the West DuPage Woods where we will hike until 3:00.

q Family members are welcome to join – be sure everyone dresses for the weather!!

q Our January hike will take place on January 12^th at Blackwell Forest Preserve. Plan on meeting at Whittier School at 10 a.m.

Mark your Calendars!!

q Our January event is the Arrow of Light Ceremony and will be held on January 25^th.

q Watch for details as the event draws closer.
